March1 (for July) Critic 4-8 for Once again, I take up my poison pen, for 100 words before the mast.

 As is my custom I comment where others won’t, on the unwatched and underappreciated. If you feel I have done right by this work, go out and do the same for someone else.

Critic: Rain by Aivilo3261

Vision:  Perceptive

Originality: Quiet, well some, the comparison of the circle of life to the water circle. I have not read that before here on DA.

Technique: Good to standard, no mechanical flaws.

Impact: this pome moved me, I felt it. It describes a tranquil transition from one form to another in the water cycle, almost making a comparison to the circle of life. However the pome may be calming but inspired in me, thoughts that were just the opposite. I have never been, in my own heart, able to reconcile the concept of a water droplet falling hundreds of miles from the sky, only to end on impact when hitting the ground, or a shirt. The transfer from one form to another, the transition from steam to water, to ice and back again, is an energetic cycle. Not a still and calm one. That act of bringing life to the desert, from falling rain. I can see nothing but a form of explosion and a transfer of energy.
